Press Release:
Welcome
to Tractorfax.org, a data base project whose aim is to make good agriculture business
even better.
What’s
the problem? Simply stated, there currently is no centralized data base in
existence for the gathering, retrieving, and dissemination of information necessary
for tracking the buying and selling of agricultural machinery and equipment.
Why not?
New equipment manufacturers and their network of private dealerships are driven
by new equipment market shares. The mere submissions of UCC filings leave
entities such as ag insurance underwriters, ag lenders, etc. with an inadequate
data base to maximize their valuable services. Individual buyers and sellers,
auction companies, ag dealers, county, state, and federal agencies must fend for
themselves to obtain accurate and necessary data to assure protection from civil
liability and even criminal activity with its attendant legal fees.
What are
we doing about it? Instead of adding to the clutter and confusion of an outdated
or non existent system, we have formed an Arkansas based corporation named Tractorfax.org
which aims to remedy the situation. We are a secured database server which
houses confidential and pertinent information pertaining to the selling and purchasing
of high end and self propelled agricultural machinery and equipment such as tractors,
combines, cotton pickers, ag spray rigs, etc. We provide a “one stop” searchable
database that allows for the tracking and provision of ag equipment data.
Such a service has not been available to either the individual buyer/seller or to
ag lenders, ag insurance companies, or to county, state, and federal agencies.
We are
new. Tractorfax.org was launched in April of 2006 when our first client, www.
tractorfinders.com registered the first 208 units with our data base. Following
that initial transaction, Tractorfax.org aggressively began purchasing bulk data
and electronically remapping it into a secured server in an accessible and usable
format. The primary source of this expanding data base has come from manufacturers,
ag lenders, ag auction companies, ag insurance corporations and a variety of county,
state and federal agriculture agencies.
Our goal
is to provide certification for agricultural equipment by maintaining a secure and
accurate database which will put an end to the guessing game for buyers, sellers,
insurers, and a host of other entities. We are at your service and intend
to be responsive to your needs.
We invite
you to browse our web site and learn how you, too, can participate in our ultimate
goal of making good agricultural business even better.
